OUR CURRENT FOCUS

To continue the great work we started in 2018 with FEND – a drug prevention and education program to engage, inform and empower young people.

The drug landscape is changing with fentanyl-laced substances and counterfeit pills leading to increased drug overdose deaths. The risks have never been higher.

Jacqueline Burgess, PhD

Executive Director

Jacquii’s background includes clinical practice, public health research, marketing and journalism. She has spent the past seven years working in drug prevention and harm reduction education.

Ashley Davis

Board Chair

Ash has over 25 years in media and marketing including corporate and agency roles in sales, creative development and operations. As VP of Operations for Time Warner Cable Media, he led a team of over 200 that oversaw video and digital ad operations.

Donald McDonald, MSW

Board Member

Donald is a person thriving in sustained recovery from severe mental & substance use disorders. Previously, Donald served as the National Field Director of Faces & Voices of Recovery, the Executive Director of Addiction Professionals of NC

Lyndon Holzheimer

Board Member

Lyndon is an experienced software executive with experience in developing systems with clear operational guidelines for successful businesses. He possesses a singular ability to connect, pull together, and manage diverse teams with varying levels of technology experience and use.
